The Slack integration gives you two powerful ways to work with Janet AI: 1. Collect Bug Reports & Feature Requests: Slack Workspace Members and customers can use slash commands to submit bug reports and feature requests that are automatically processed by Janet AI 2. Chat with Janet AI in Slack: Use all of Janet AI’s chat capabilities (create tickets, search, update, comment) directly from Slack threads

Bug Reports & Feature Requests

Navigate to Integrations → Slack to install the Janet AI Slack app to your Slack workspace. Janet AI analyzes each submission and automatically creates and updates tickets in your selected projects.

Slack Commands

Workspace members use these commands to submit reports: /bug-report: Submit a bug report with description /feature-request: Submit a feature request with description Janet AI processes each submission and creates a ticket linked to the Slack message. Slack Report Command Modal

Report Dashboard

After connecting, you can view all submissions in the Slack integration page:
  • Filter by report type (all, bugs, features)
  • See report content and linked tickets
  • View analytics on bug reports vs feature requests
  • Navigate to tickets directly from reports
You can also reply to customers in Slack directly from the Customer Reports page, which aggregates reports from both Slack and Discord. Slack Report Detail Modal

Janet AI Chat in Slack

Use all of Janet AI Chat’s capabilities directly from Slack by @mentioning the bot in any thread. Ask in natural language to create tickets, update existing ones, search your backlog, leave comments, and more, all without leaving Slack. Janet AI Chat in Slack Thread

Slack Thread Sessions

When you chat with Janet AI in Slack, each thread becomes a chat session that syncs with your Janet AI chat history. Sessions are labeled “Slack Thread” followed by the first message, and context is maintained across the entire thread.
